‘ As We Are’ is an ongoing portrait series that I began during lock-down, 2020. My intention is to capture each person as they are in that moment in time. The neutral pose of each figure as they gaze back at the viewer allows for a vulnerability and an honesty to be seen. The muted tones of the background conjures a sense of stillness, a moment captured in time.
